These beads have actually been blessed by a Tibetan Monk. A young lady receives a package every three months. This package contains roughly 1000 hand picked beads. She also receives 50% of the proceeds of the sale of these beads. She usually gives half to the priest and uses the other half to purchase food and clothing for his mother, two younger sisters and a younger brother. |
